As a postdoc in the DMC Lab at the University of Minnesota and an incoming assistant professor at UCLA, I develop materials for energy technologies by integrating computational methods with experimental validation. My work combines density functional theory, machine learning, and Monte Carlo simulations with feedback from in-situ characterization and robotic synthesis.
During my PhD, spent with the Ceder group at UC Berkeley, I worked on the automation of materials synthesis through platforms such as the A-Lab. An overview of this area can be found in our review article and additional details of my work can be found here.
